I do share your joy,
Kissed by its warm glow,
Till the mind does toy,
With what would follow.
We've seldom shared space,
But, generously our time,
Each now to lose their place,
To be melted, the old rime.
I must be on the fringe,
You, smiling, at the center,
Yet, a sadness does tinge,
For only an exit lets one enter.
I wish you well, I do,
But, a shrill noise to plug,
And a lonely journey too,
Forgive me, if I don't chug.
Kissed by its warm glow,
Till the mind does toy,
With what would follow.
We've seldom shared space,
But, generously our time,
Each now to lose their place,
To be melted, the old rime.
I must be on the fringe,
You, smiling, at the center,
Yet, a sadness does tinge,
For only an exit lets one enter.
I wish you well, I do,
But, a shrill noise to plug,
And a lonely journey too,
Forgive me, if I don't chug.
