The Song Of Life...

I felt I did love you,
As I whistled your tune,
Told myself it's untrue,
I was amid many a dune.

Listening to what I heard,
Dusting off the old clavis,

Each time I lived a word,
I could see it, see it as it is.

Your lyrics aren't a mush,
More than catchy, each note,
I wasn't feeling just a rush,
No longer were you remote.

You are subtle and intricate,
More than seen in passing view,
Reading this, you may regret,
But I do, I surely do love you.

With time, I'll love you more,
I'm yet to unwrap all your gifts,
But to learn the needed lore,

Will you join me through life's drifts?
