So, Will You Join Me?

Breathe into the sail,
A new, reviving impetus,
When, to me,

it all seems to no avail,
Be my upholding truss.

When the seas do lave,
Water, and the boat does reel,
I will brave the wave,
I shall be your trusty keel.

Please, take to the helm,
Keep our boat on tack,
When life does overwhelm,
And my spirit does slack.

Seeing a mirthful shoal,
When for home you pine,
I will cushion the roll,
We’ll keep it flying,
        the explorer’s ensign.

We needn’t loathe the land,
But, settling down is all ennui;
Life’s Vista,
          spreads away from the strand,
And for the view,
we have to be  at sea.

So, will you join me?
