Love You...

Oh, I did fear,
That hearts would be rent,
Let your eyes tear,
Misreading the portent.

As I crushed and  trampled,
My eyes tightly shut,
You must have sampled,
The fiend in my gut.

But, sensing the sacrament,
Of the Lord’s heir apparent,
That sweetens each moment,
And fills the firmament,
You chose to show resolve,
Let it bloom, let it evolve,
Till the crescent was the moon,
And we were in a divine cocoon.

Having breathed it in,
I could only thank the one above,
How could I even imagine,
When to be felt was your love.

Sharing what time has to lend,
Ever willing to twist, to bend,
For you, for me, for us,
Ducking the flare,
                bucking the nimbus,
Shall we walk ever together,
Defying every selfish tether?

Does it sound ambitious?
Surely not for our vim,
The gift of that ne’er repetitious,
And eternally new hymn…
