No waft of words,
No matter how sweet,
No giggling herds,
Or dancing feet,
Will make me
               look afar...

No eyes in a pair,
However strong their stare,
Can make me light a flare
To wonder where
You are...

I'm resigned,
To the fact,
That you're one of a kind,
So designed,
To be a unique act,
And that's helped me unwind.

I will cope,
For I won't find,
A trigger to my memory.

Nothing does remind
