What I yen to drink,
Where I hope to dine,
Of whom I think,
And what I opine,
All writ in the same ink,
All up the same incline,
I'm stood on the brink,
Coveting what isn't yet mine.
... no longer a muggle,
Quoted at length,
Warm in her snuggle -
The pool of my strength.
... a dream date,
Me signing my book,
A cause to elate,
Off the tedious hook.
The list runs long,
But you get the point,
I await the gong,
Hope He doesn't disappoint.
Sure, life is a constant pine,
For what's at one's seeable limit;
Yet, it's one thing to draw a line,
And an another to live by it.
