Why are you so popular?
The quaff, chug and swig,
For occasions small and big,
Invading circles that did brew,
You have, over time, come through.
Your steps, at times, faint,
A breaking free from bottles quaint;
At others, a rash on restraint,
Letting some brawl, some sing,
some paint.
I have not taken to you,
But, that's no act of virtue;
I already babble, bait and ramble,
With you, thoughts can hardly amble.
Even worse, you are contained,
While my composure is mostly feigned;
Forget your haunting me,
If I ever adore you, you'll never be free.
