The World is melting around you,
Dark and white streaks stream;
Turning a deeper umber is the view,
Closer the beacon, warmer the beam.

Should you use the flare -
Signal for the rescue ark?
But benumbed, do you know where
You are? And where's your spark?

The flow is speeding the tick,
And your heart's picking up the beat;
Falling on your face, you lick,
Only to nibble away a Chocolate treat.
