"PLEDGING TO SLAY"-A Matter Of Pride?

In what is,arguably,in the recent past,the cheapest attempt to garner publicity,members of an Islamic(Political??) Party in ANDHRA PRADESH who seem to be playing the dual roles of religious protectors of the faith,as well as,that of law-makers in the Assembly of AP,a province in the much heralded "Secular,Socialist,Democratic,.....,Republic" of India,have issued a public death threat to the renowned controversial author Taslima Nasreen,in retaliation to the alleged blasphemous nature of her literature!The audacity of these legislators to explode with such words is appalling,considering the fact that they've been sworn in on the pretext of shielding the layman and the constitution of this nation of a billion people.Of course,the Gandhi faction(read Sonia's Congress) and the Saffron brigade(you know who!),seem to be in a relapse of their SENILE DISCOMFORTS ,forcing them to be oblivious of this gross indiscipline of the law-makers(?) in question.Its highly deplorable to note the "freedom" these fanatics enjoy owing to their office.I hope,(what else can anyone do in this disaster of a democracy??!!),these hooligans in power are brought to the book in the near(??) future.
