N.R.Narayana Murthy For President?

This post is in conjunction with the wide-spread media speculation relating Mr.Murthy to the Rashtrapathi Bhavan. Why, in the first place, would anyone want to spoil the peace of mind of India's I.T Czar??I can understand the desolation when people say that he's a brilliant CEO,human resources manager and hence would be the right choice to take over the reigns and tame these politicians.Folks need to be told of the inherent flaws of the Indian Constitution, which would render anyone occupying the President's seat "impotent" by default.
The portrayal of the President as the executive head of the Indian Republic, the Supreme commander of the armed forces etc. is at best an "URBAN MYTH"!The President is to be "advised" by the PM before taking any action what so ever implying,if it has not occurred to you yet, that the President can take no policy decisions on his own;even the deployment of troops by the "Supreme" commander is dictated by the cabinet.
The only apparent authority the President has ,apart from mutely signing the bill hurled at him by the Parliament,is to ask them for a review, failing which he'll have to sign the bill anyway!
Given all these drawbacks, the ultimate requirement for a person to hold the Office of President is for him to be literate,or at least know how to sign!
Taking note of the above criterion,we do not need a Narayana Murthy or a Kalam for any puppet would be well qualified .So please spare personalities of Mr.Murthy's eminence from the undeserved embarrassment reserved exclusively for Politicians.
